We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Travel Specialist to join our team in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. As a Travel Specialist, you will assist clients in planning their perfect vacations, handling all aspects of their travel arrangements from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and special requirements
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, and activities based on client needs
- Create detailed itineraries and travel packages tailored to individual client preferences
- Book flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel arrangements for clients Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to ensure smooth travel experiences
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after clients' trips
- Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise Requirements
- Experience in the travel industry, preferably as a Travel Agent or Consultant (Not required)
- Extensive knowledge of popular travel destinations, including their attractions, accommodations, and local customs
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary
Must reside in the US
