The position of Executive housekeeper requires him/her to lead the housekeeping teams to clean and organize rooms in a quick and effective manner while adhering to the brand standards set into place.
Key job duties:
Create the board for all housekeepers and make sure they have everything they need to be successful.
Inspect all rooms to ensure they are ready for the guests and the housekeeping team did not miss anything in brand compliance and cleanliness.
Replacing room amenities and linens
Removing trash
Dusting and polish furniture
Vacuuming carpets
Cleaning windows
Cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning common areas of the hotel
Housekeepers must follow company polices and report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and lost items. jobs involving some physical labor, housekeepers need to possess the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Additionally, housekeepers often need to move, carry, push, and lift up to 25 pounds. In some instances, housekeepers may need to address guest service needs. Housekeepers should always smile and greet each guest they come into contact with.
