This team is dedicated to revolutionizing the logistics and transportation space in a much more sustainable way with zero-emission solutions. In this opportunity, you’ll be a Lead on the team helping migrate to newer technologies, standup new platforms to improve scalability, and help with architecture and design . The ideal candidate will come from a consulting background or a position where they gained the exposure to work with a variety or data projects.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on building scalable data platforms.
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, storage, compute components using Azure Services.
• Experience deploying modern data solutions leveraging components like Azure functions, Azure Data Factory, Data Flows, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Streaming Analytics or equivalent.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of Data Lake architectures, including raw, enriched, and curated layer concepts, and ETL/ELT operations.
• Strong proficiency in PLSQL, Spark, PySpark, Python and Pandas
• Hands on experience in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS and Event Hub
• Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps
• Understand the Data Platforms & Services strategy, information architecture and build modern data lake to support data needs.
• Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions
• Lead the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools to modernize data platform
• Partner with analysts and architects to develop technical architectures for data engineering projects.
