Le Nouveau Chef Americas Inc. is looking to fill customer service positions. We are a top of the line, luxury chef apparel company that distributes to fine dining restaurants, hospitality groups, hotels, celebrity chefs and more. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
Customer service position is an individual contributor role, responsible for responding to incoming emails, calls, and processing orders. Position will be in office position with possible remote flexibility, communicating and reporting directly, to the National Sales Director. Organizing and maintaining customer relationships, while keeping accurate data within system. Completing and logging daily activity.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
● Provides general customer support, which includes answering all incoming customer calls regarding order status, order process, package and price clarification, special services, reorders, refunds, and telephone orders
● Deliver friendly customer service while providing information about the products, to existing customers and new leads
● Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all customer interactions and contact information
● Attend team-based meetings to develop new customer service skills, receive personalized training and network with top executives
● Process and pack orders or make changes as needed to existing orders
● Routes calls or directs visitors/customers to appropriate area employees or escalates customer inquiries to National Sales Director
Basic Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative:
● Associates or College Degree
● 1-3 years of experience with customer service, sales representative, restaurant, or hospitality environment
● 1 year of Hospitality /Restaurant Experience or 1 year of B2b Sales experience
● Technically and digital skills with Excel, Quick Books, Ship Station and Adobe
● Ability to work independently
● Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity.
● Outstanding communication skills
● Value Focused - Solid ability to handle challenging conversations and add value to business owners in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
● Adaptable - You are adaptable and can think on your feet, when faced with new challenges, or tough conversations, failure simply isn't an option
● Must be able to lift, up to 25lbs
● Able to sit and work for extended period
