Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Timely and accurate invoice generation and distribution. Ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Receivables Oversight: Monitor customer balances, manage collections, and maintain precise records.
- Cash Handling: Efficiently apply and reconcile incoming payments to maintain accurate account balances.
- Credit Control: Assess client creditworthiness, oversee collections, and handle negotiations as necessary.
- Financial Reporting: Generate detailed reports on receivables status and provide actionable insights to management.
- Audit Preparation: Ready accounts for audits and handle related queries.
- Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring responsive and professional communication.
- Regulatory Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to accounting policies and maintain comprehensive documentation.
This position is not just about managing numbers but building and maintaining trustworthy relationships that ensure our financial health and uphold our reputation. You’ll report directly to the CFO and may occasionally work with their sales, external legal counsel, and collection agencies!
RequirementsQualifications
- Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of credit evaluation and collections procedures is a plus.
