Position: School Psychologist
Location: School District Near Lockport, Illinois
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team and provide comprehensive psychological services to school districts across Illinois. This position involves working closely with students, educators, and families to support the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address a variety of emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility determination and IEP meetings.
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to support students' educational and emotional needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development and training.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois state license or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
