Nexeo is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our HR team in the Logan, UT area! As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our organization's production equipment, performing electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting, and conducting repairs to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment, including die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures.

• Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications to repair and maintain machinery.

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments for repairs.

• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, or other machine shop equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in maintaining complex equipment and machinery.

• Skilled in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining equipment. Advanced knowledge of equipment and machine control systems to trace symptoms of malfunctions and distinguish between mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic failures.

• Ability to make precise adjustments for alignment, parallelism, and concentricity.

• Proficient in performing precise measurements of air and fluid pressure and flow and understanding the mechanisms that convert these readings into measurable units. Ability to interpret complex multiview drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, manufacturers' specifications, and other technical materials.

• Advanced knowledge of construction and assembly techniques, with the ability to manufacture replacement parts with complex configurations or assemble unique devices.

• Strong understanding of geometry, shop mathematics, and handbook formulas to calculate angles, clearances, fits, pressure, flow, and other parameters.

Pay

$23.53 - $31.93 Per Hour DOE

Schedule

Full Time

Training Schedule: Will last several months | Monday – Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Post-training Schedule: Weekend Graves | Friday – Sunday | 5:00pm - 5:00am
