GQue BBQ is seeking an experienced, people-centric and results-producing leader to serve as the company’s General Manager at its Lone Tree Location. This location has seen consistent growth over its 5-year history and will soar under its next strong, consistent and ready-to-win leader.

Job Overview: The successful candidate must have previous experience as a leader or manager in the hospitability business, preferably in fast casual restaurants. GQue is a high-volume environment so you must enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced job. The GM is a central and influential role, and must have the ability to motivate, activate and maintain positivity amongst the full location staff. Accuracy, timeliness, adherence to process the upholding of standards are key to success. You’ll also be coaching and guiding the talent on your team to reach their full potential and must do so with kindness and consistency. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities of the Lone Tree General Manager:

  • Develop and hit target metrics such as positive customer reviews, gross revenue, expense control.
  • Oversee and supervise all operations, daily systems and processes
  • Enthusiastically and genuinely lead the Lone Tree team and our company culture through personal attention and care, modeling of core values, insistence and exampling of excellence 
  • Serve as a reliable coach to the full team through relationship building and consistent listening; hold team members accountable for performance results. 
  • Evaluate logistical needs and plan ahead to ensure that the store runs with excellence during pique times
  • Perform ongoing evaluation of business operations and streamline systems, staffing and processes for efficiency, being comfortable to make quick changes for the good of the business and the team
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks such as team development, report and results reviews, and money handling
  • With our corporate team, develop a strong leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth, notably of high performing individuals. Conduct performance reviews for all location team members.
  • Ensure your GQue location is meeting and exceeding all GQue standards on quality, preparation, store cleanliness, customer service and timeliness.
  • Meet regularly with Leadership Team for training, personal development, culture building and company vision sharing

Qualifications

  • 3 years leadership/management experience in a fast-paced complex hospitality environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Driven and motivated with a strong sense of business acumen
  • Passionate and intentional about understanding the business and developing team members
  • Proven to be ‘team’ minded; genuine heart and care for people and a reliable, consistent team player
  • Optimistic and engaging; honestly excited about the vision/future growth of the company
  • Demonstrates servant leadership mentality; willing to get your hands dirty
  • Perceptive and innovative; able to determine needed changes to the business and activate thoughtfully and quickly
  • Possesses a willingness and desire to learn and be coached; open minded and adaptable
  • Ability to keep composer under high pressure and make decisions quickly and lead steadily under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; quick thinker and decision maker
  • Organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills

  • Ability to obtain the knowledge and skills of every position in the operation
