Property Description:

Our country club is distinguished by its diverse membership, phenomenal golf experience, fun recreation activities, and year-round social events. We are a chosen venue for weddings, special occasions, and corporate events.

Position Summary:

Give support to the Facility Director in the maintenance, repair and preventative care of Royal Melbourne Country Club as directed on a daily basis. Ensures guest satisfaction through proper functioning and upkeep of facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Keep financial and non-financial records
  • Perform analysis and forecasting
  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, and parking lots.
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as completing maintenance orders
  • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
  • Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
  • Follows company policies and procedures.
  • Amendments may be added or deleted at the discretion of the Facility Director. This job description is not all-inclusive. You may be asked to perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and above average maintenance skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, sheetrock repair, plant maintenance and care.
  • Will be required to work in fast paced, stressful environment.
  • May be asked to work overtime.
  • May be necessary to enter some confined spaces to inspect equipment.
