Join our prestigious high-end rug company as a Webmaster, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our online presence. We are seeking a talented and creative individual to ensure our website reflects the elegance and sophistication of our brand.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain our company website, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with our eCommerce and Editorial teams to optimize alt text, meta text, keyword usage, slugs, and other SEO-related elements.
• Utilize your expertise in digital advertising and marketing to attract and engage our target audience, particularly interior designers, architects, and trade professionals.
• Work diligently to ensure our extensive online inventory of over 5,000 rugs, including antique rugs, custom rugs, and samples, is showcased effectively.
• Implement strategies to improve the visibility and reach of our products to the appropriate online consumers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web design, SEO, and digital marketing to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a webmaster or in a similar role, with a strong background in SEO optimization.
• Knowledge of digital advertising and marketing principles, with experience in implementing successful campaigns.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and tools.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website administration.
• Excellent understanding of SEO techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and analytics.
• Adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly eCommerce and Editorial.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in home furnishings, luxury brands, or a related industry.
• Experience working with interior designers, architects, or trade professionals.
