LeTourneau University is Hiring a Floor technician Near Longview, TX
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
Routine duties include :
- Carpet cleaning / extracting in offices, classrooms, and academic hallways.
- Ceramic tile cleaning of restrooms, hallways, and kitchen areas.
Occasional duties include :
- Minor maintenance and repairs of custodial equipment.
- Performing routine custodial tasks including, but not limited to mopping, vacuuming, trash collecting, window cleaning.
Washroom / shower sanitizing.
- Proper usage of LeTourneau University supplied chemicals.
- Proper usage of safety equipment supplied by LeTourneau University.
- Implementing instructions from the Assistant Director of Custodial Services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical motions include but are not limited to the following : lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, scrubbing, bending, squatting, going up and down stairs, continuous standing and walking, and any combination of the preceding.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Floor Tech qualifications required, and experience of 5 years preferred.
- High school education or equivalent fund of knowledge.
- Must be age 18 or older.
- Good working knowledge of the English language.
- Able to work independently.
