• Schedule: Full-Time Days, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 4x 10-Hour Shifts, Monday-Friday. Flexible schedule with willingness to work some overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities for Our OR Circulating Nurse Role:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the OR, including pre-operative patient assessments, surgical setup evaluations, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based standards throughout the surgical process.
• Efficiently manage intraoperative tasks, ensuring all support activities are completed within established standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and specialists by overseeing authorization and documentation processes.
• Actively participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for Our OR Circulating Nurse Role:

• At least 1 year of direct-patient care experience in an acute care, operating room, or ambulatory surgery center setting.
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
• Associate of Science in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current and unencumbered California Registered Nursing License.
• Must hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
