- As a Logistics Specialist, candidates will collect data for export shipments and prepare documents to assist in shipping order to maintain on time shipments to customers, perform data entry into respective systems timely & accurately, and complete paperwork associated with these tasks.
- Clear communication skills.
- Will be talking with project managers, trucking companies, and customers.
- Organization and prioritization skills to ensure the correct paperwork is with the orders and ready when required.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and computers.
- Data collection and documentation may include:
- Check/verify parts for Country of Origin (for export parts).
- Download and label shipping pictures.
- Create paperwork for Export shipments.
- Create special tags/markings for export shipments.
- Create a packing list and prioritize orders for creating and shipping.
- Request shipping through customers portals.
- Notify and work with other departments to get orders shipped.
- Scan and maintain all shipping documents.
- Workers will be moving from the office to shop floor to gather weights, part and attach shipping labels as needed.
