Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and support schedules
• Prepare account reconciliations (cash, liabilities, fixed assets, payroll accruals, etc.)
• Test and maintain internal controls and assist with internal audits
• Examine and analyze accounts
• Identify and track data needed
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• File and remit taxes and other financial obligations
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Senior Accountants, Office Manager, and Chief Financial Officer
• Train in each applicable area of the company
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• 3 years of accounting experience
• Experience in Accounts Payable
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; advanced level in Excel
• Superior data management and data analysis skills
• Must be detail-oriented and analytical
• High aptitude for numbers
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
• Inventory management/inventory control experience is a plus
