Sabre88 isrecruiting for a Communications Specialist or a Communication Firm to providecommunications services to a potential client in Lyndhurst, NJ. This positionis for a tentative contract award and if awarded, this position will be an oncall, as needed for a total of 25 hours per month.The ideal candidate would possess a creativeand strategic mindset with proven social media and networking expertise, superiorcontent writing experience for all media platforms, and submit a portfolio ofcommunication work for review.

Responsibilities:

§Developeffective corporate communication strategies

§Maintaincopy writing requirements

§Draftcontent for press releases, mass media distribution, and company website

§Organizeinitiatives, strategic planning, event planning, and press conferences

§Liaisonwith the media and manage requests for interviews, statements etc

§Collaboratewith marketing professionals to produce copy for advertisements or articles

§Facilitatethe resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors

§Manageinternal communications and assist in communication of strategies and messagesfrom senior leadership

§Draftannual reports and maintain stakeholder engagement

§Preparematerials for public events

§Additionalrelated duties as assigned

Requirements:

§3 -5 years of proven experience as communications specialist

§MAin Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or similar relevant field

§Experiencein web design and content production

§Experiencein copywriting and editing

§Experiencewith MS Office, photo and video-editing software

§Asuperior command of oral and written English language

§Outstandingorganizational and strategic planning abilities

§Asporting, environmental, scientific, or entertainment background is a plus

§Submita portfolio of communication work for review

Background Check/SecurityRequirements:

§Mustsuccessfully pass a federal background check

§Mustsuccessfully clear 3 reference checks

§Mustbe authorized to work in the United States

Job Type:

§OnCall as needed; 25 hours/monthly
