Asset Guard Solutions is a reputable security company committed to safeguarding businesses and ensuring the safety of their customers and employees. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unarmed Security Officer for a shopping plaza, temporary assignments, and 5 hour vehicle patrol route.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
- Enforce security protocols and procedures to protect property and assets.
- Perform access control, including verifying the age of individuals (21 years or older).
- Address visitor inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Identify and resolve conflicts or challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Utilize surveillance techniques to detect suspicious behavior and potential threats.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and observation.
- Prepare and maintain incident reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Guard Card is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in door guarding, loss prevention, corrections, or customer service.
- Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations with professionalism.
- First aid, CPR, and relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and threat detection.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security-related training is a plus.
