The Rock Garden at A-Lodge in Lyons is seeking beertenders to serve out craft beverages and tips for great local adventures for guests and locals alike. The ideal employee will have extensive knowledge of behind the bar operations, outstanding customer service skills, a heart that beats for the outdoors and the community, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and as a team.

The person(s) that fills this position will be a part of a seasonal staff and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities --

Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers

Interact with customers’ and be able to give proper recommendations and information

Abide by business SOPs and laws surrounding alcohol consumption and regulations

Restock, replenish, and maintain Rock Garden inventory and cleanliness

Assist with A-Lodge guests in check-in process

Accurately handle cash and cash transactions

Requirements --

Over 21 years of age

Resume with proven working experience as a bartender or closely related field

A valid Driver’s License or reliable source of transportation

TIPS certified or willingness to get certified (3-4 hour certification)

Deep understanding and care for customer experience

Highly detail oriented, commitment to accuracy, problem solver

Ability to work both independently and as a team without direct supervision

A happy-to-be-here attitude

Physical Requirements: Candidate should be willing and able to lift at least 55 lbs and move 165 lbs kegs.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 25 per week
