Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Implement individual care plans and support goals
- Monitor and document individual progress and behaviors
- Assist with medication administration as needed
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or long-term care settings
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely
- Knowledge of patient care practices and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Proficiency in direct support techniques and behavior management
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with individuals, families, and team members
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and protocols
