WR Medical Electronics Co. is Hiring a Director of Product Management Near Maplewood, MN
Overview:
WR Medical is seeking a dynamic Director of Product & Sales to lead strategic development and execution of our neurophysiology business line. The Director will report directly to our CEO and sit on the leadership team driving product / market fit, owning new and existing product marketing, and enabling sales growth and innovation. They will play an important role leading internal and external sales and marketing teams and will build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in the medical field.
Responsibilities:
• New Product Launch: Plan and execute product marketing launch plans for new products and services.
• Sales Strategy: Define and implement global sales strategies to achieve company objectives in the medical device industry, including forecasting sales projections, setting short and long-term sales goals, and preparing sales budgets.
• Team Leadership & Training: Lead, inspire, and motivate our sales team. This role will be responsible for setting expectations, providing mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and developing training programs to enhance product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
• Relationship Management: Forge and bolster relationships with key clients, industry professionals, stakeholders, and opinion leaders in relevant clinical areas (Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Pain management, and Diabetes care) globally. Define approach for addressing customer feedback and complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Business Development: Drive business development initiatives including identification of new business opportunities and conducting industry research to develop effective sales solutions. Attend academic and clinical meetings to promote products and stay updated on clinical developments.
• Data & Trends: Analyze sales data and market trends to make recommendations, drive resource allocation, and optimize performance.
Our Ideal Candidate:
• 5-10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Sales, Business Development or relevant field. Experience working in the medical industry is a plus!
• BA/BS degree required, additional Product, Marketing or Sales certifications and degrees are a plus
• Leadership & Management: ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team. Ability to effectively manage resources, budget, goals and priorities
• Medical Device Sales Expertise: demonstrated knowledge in technical sales, experience selling technology solutions or software products, and historical success achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong interest in and deep understanding of technical neurology concepts.
• Account Management: experiencing managing client accounts and fostering long-term relationships
• Pitching: proven ability to conduct face-to-face sales meetings and successfully close deals at conferences with prospective clients
• Customer service: strong focus on delivering exceptional service to clients
• Analytical skills: ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics

WR Medical is a small medical device manufacturer located in Maplewood, MN that serves the neurophysiology diagnostic market. We have a family of mature products developed with Mayo Clinic, as well as new products we are looking to launch that will increase our market reach.
At WR Medical, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the stated range. Your actual base pay will be determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition, WR provides employees with target bonuses, time off, and generous benefits packages (including medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching).
