Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver/Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle physical tasks in our yard. This dual-role position involves driving delivery vehicles to transport goods and assisting with yard operations, including loading and unloading materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving:
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that products are handled with care.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for delivered goods.
• Yard Work:
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
• Organize and maintain the yard, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-ordered.
• Help with inventory management, including counting and stocking materials.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or yard worker is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus.
• Skills:
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Requirements:
• Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record.
