Plant Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in the Madison, Wisconsin area. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet operational goals through stratigic planning, effective communications, utilization of technology and hands on management.
- Manage and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and quality
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate supply chain operations and resources.
- Lead and mentor production staff to achieve performance targets utilizing people management skills, labor management experience and technical knowledge.
- Implement quality control measures to uphold product standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements through leadership, training and problem solving skills.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive operational excellence
- Ensure that all Company Policies, Procedures, work rules and regulations applied to employees are fairly applied to all employees so to maintain a safe and satisfying work environment.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fabricating or manufacturing environments
- Strong background in production management and operations management
- Proficiency in quality control practices and process improvement methodologies
- Mechanical knowledge for overseeing machinery and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain management principles
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate teams and collaborate effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
