Kforce is Hiring a Business Systems Analyst Near Madison, WI
- Identify and foresee both business process and system issues, perform analysis and recommend solutions so their respective business functions can successfully run the business and are using properly functioning technology
- Collaborate with other BSAs and IT to develop end-to-end technical solutions across teams that improve operational capabilities and customer experience
- Lead without authority, facilitate and conduct business need gatherings, document and translate business needs into usable functional/nonfunctional requirements
- Write stories in well-organized, value-driven frameworks that are clear, concise and easy to understand and implement
- Communicate to the business areas using simple, non-technical language but can consult with IT in a more technical manner
- Act in a liaison role between the business and IT
- Serve as the Data Steward for their respective business function
- Understand the meaning of business data in order to specify how the data enables work activity in respective and cross functional business functions
- Query, extract and analyze business data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
- Provide process and system support as necessary to ensure the business is functioning steady and effective
- Analyze reported problems and provide resolutions
- Provide system support including maintenance, upgrades and releases
- Support and facilitate system configuration
- Support all testing functions including integration, system, regression, performance and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
- Accountable for identifying features and functions that are impactful to the business so that Risk Base Testing is properly executed
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis field or related area
