The Irrigation Technician must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigation systems to include wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pulling pipe; installing heads, rotors, valves, operating equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers, subcontractors, and architects, etc. Require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner and, if necessary, directing a crew of one other team member. The Irrigation Technician must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere.
