We are seeking a Professional Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in the engineering field. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of project leadership and execution, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role involves managing engineering investigations, design, permitting, financial project management, and construction management. The candidate must be comfortable with fieldwork, including walking and climbing.

Responsibilities :

• Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, acting as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee designs for water and wastewater infrastructure, including supply, treatment, distribution, collection, and disposal systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, provide recommendations, and prepare engineering estimates for capital projects.
• Review and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Supervise the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering activities with broader organizational goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to prepare reports and design documents.
• Coordinate construction project submittals, deliverables, and approvals against contract requirements.
• Work with GIS and Survey departments to gather necessary data for planning and design.
• Evaluate proposals from consultants and contractors, providing technical support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, serving as a liaison with regulatory agencies.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
• Provide on-call assistance during emergencies and critical project phases.

Desired Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a plus or EIT
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proven project leadership and execution skills in a technical engineering environment.
• Proficiency in using personal computers and engineering software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license.
