Requirements:
- NJ licensed Social Worker
- 1 year experience
- AHA BLS
- LSW/LCSW or LAC/LPC License
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Experience working in Emergency Psychiatric Services/"Crisis" or inpatient behavioral health settings preferred
- Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application in a variety of medical settings.
- Knowledge of psychopathology and differential diagnosis and treatment techniques.
- Position operates on a 3-week rotation, Every 3rd weekend will need coverage and days during the week vary
- SOMC Emergency Psychiatric Service - providing treatment in the Emergency Dept for patients presenting with acute psychiatric symptoms
