About the Role
Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Production Planner who will provide leadership and direction in the manufacturing of wound care products while optimizing continuous production processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. The ideal candidate should live in the Manchester, CT area or is willing to commute.

What you will do
  • Plan, measure, schedule, and monitor operating limits and capacities of the organization.
  • Utilize manufacturing data and reports to drive key insights into efficiency, production rates, and other performance metrics.
  • Forecast and plan capacity requirements to ensure alignment with production units.
  • Determine variance from production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues or friction points that impact plant capacity.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand and develop current and forecasted plans.
  • Recommend process and equipment improvements to optimize production capabilities.
  • Monitor supply requirements and communicate reorder needs.
  • Review and calculate supply and finished goods inventory and planning parameters to ensure an adequate on-hand stock.
  • Support purchasing duties as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Who you are
  • Combination of high school diploma or equivalent with relevant work history.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience (Manufacturing/Production Operations, Quality, Process Eng).
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 preferred.
  • SAP or ERP system knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Compensation and Benefits:
$66,320 - $82,900 annual incentive bonus benefits
