Small business with scheduled daily maintenance and repairs on truck and trailers.

A growing small family owned business that focuses on on-site truck and trailer fleet maintenance and repairs that Is looking to hire a full time mobile technician.

Ideal candidate would need the required below:

-your own tools, ( list of tools needed will be given ipon hire, some tools provided )

-2 years experience in heavy truck/trailer repair

-good driving record

-knowledge with PM services, brakes, electrical diagnostics, aftertreatment systems, etc.

-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

-good attitude and willingness to learn, show up everyday and provide good customer and vendor relationships.

-must be a team player, someone who is looking to grow with the business and have fun while doing it.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule customer repairs to a schedule that works for the customer as well as you.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customers truck and trailer equipment and schedule follow up work.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as brake components, emission components, fuel system components, aftertreatment components, etc..
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work truck.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Other duties as assigned.

The work is based around the customer as well as the technician. We try to run a flexible schedule that works for both. This is a position for someone who is great at time management and who is motivated. We do 10 hour work days. Willing to train the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
