Title : Merchandise Planner

Location : Manhattan Beach, CA

Responsibilities :

• Manage OTB sales and inventory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Update and communicate OTB and receipt plans, ensuring schedules are met' participate in forecast and OTB meetings
• Re-forecast sales bi-monthly, report results to the manager; adjust inventory as needed
• Analyze trends, forecast, and provide quarterly and seasonal plans in advance; ensure purchases align with the plan
• Identify and address sales and inventory risks weekly
• Work with merchandisers on inventory management, including exit and transition strategies, cancellations, markdowns, and in-store plans
• Report sales and inventory results monthly and quarterly
• Review pre-distribution orders and prioritize key styles / categories for delivery

Qualifications :

• 2-4 years in merchandise planning or buying, preferably in footwear
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Internet.
• Strong numerical and retail math skills
• Proficient in financial metrics and performance reports
• Experience in SKU and category planning, financial planning, and report / model building
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effective communicator across teams.
• Team-oriented with a drive to achieve goals
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Customer service-oriented and driven to succeed

Salary : $90,000 -$110,000

Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.
