SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the production department. This will include managing roofing crews, field supervisors, and ensuring all materials, tools, resources are available for service by performing the following duties. RVE's core production standards are to be able to Identify, Evaluate, and Execute. Identify issues before and during the project, evaluate the issue and be able to provide a plan in order to achieve the workmanship and quality required by RVE standards. Execute the plan created.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Including but not limited to the following;
- Perform pre-start material checks. Ensure all orders delivered are correct and manage material waste on the project.
- Communicate with homeowners and/or contract holders and provide updates both verbal and photographic, throughout the process of the project.
- Inform the homeowner of any additional changes to the project that will be needed in order to provide a quality product that were not initially discussed during the signing of the contract. Provide change orders to be signed to reflect the cost and scope of work.
- Documentation of required information into CRM - Acculynx in regards to information pertinent to the customers file to include but not limited to; wood usage, change orders, material orders/pick-ups, homeowner communication, project progress
- Supervise residential and commercial roofing replacement/installation projects.
- Supply crew with materials and/tools as needed.
- Ensures crew is adhering to all safety measures Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
- Completes walk-thru inspections during the process of tear-off, dry-in, in-progress and final.
- Photo documentation of each stage in accordance with RVE's checklist
- Ensures the job site is clean and all inspections required by city and county have been passed before moving on to the next stage of the project.
- Roof Inspections that result in sold roof repairs or are due to warranty claims.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to speak Spanish is a PLUS.
