Priority Staffing Group is Hiring a Plant Manager Near Marion, IL
Tasks include:
- Hires, trains, evaluates, and discharges staff.
- Resolves personnel grievances.
- Analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect production problems.
- Prepares and maintains production reports and personnel records.
- Coordinates and recommends procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification.
- Reviews plans and confers with research and support staff to develop new products and processes or the quality of existing products.
- Direct and coordinate production, processing, distribution, and marketing activities of industrial organization.
- Initiates and coordinates inventory and cost control programs.
- Review processing schedules and production orders to determine staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
- Examines samples of raw products or directs testing during processing to ensure finished products conform to prescribed quality standards.
- Reviews operations and confers with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
