Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nutrition Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and wellness through proper nutrition. As a Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for creating customized meal plans according to the federal and state dietary guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine eligibility for home delivered meal options
- Develop nutrition plans based guidelines and policies set by the WV Bureau of Senior Services
- Manage the nutrition department and supervise staff members
- Oversee and order all foods needed for the nutrition department
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Ability to abide by Federal, State, Local and BSS regulations, which includes lifting up to 40 lbs
- Ability to follow menus and recipes in accordance with state guidelines
- Understanding of the operation, care and use of equipment.
- Ability to relate well with other staff members, volunteers and meal participants of all social and economic levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
