GENERAL: The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the planning and coordinating of student enrollment for multiple locations, the organization of filing systems and communications with the administrative team, parents, staff and school personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must be highly detail oriented, works well within a diverse team, demonstrates a high degree of initiative, be flexible and adaptable. The candidate must also be able to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner, able to prioritize activities when under tight deadlines, and possess analytical skills in accordance with our core values. They should also be willing to continue their professional development through enrolling in early childhood, school age or administrative classes or training to meet their annual training requirements of 20 hours each year.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or;
2) Thirty semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credit from an accredited college or university with six semester hours (or nine quarter hours) related to school-age child care, child development, human development, family systems or human service coursework.
PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
1) Three Years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with diverse administrative team members functioning in a coordinating role.
2) Three Years of experience in partnership development and planning skills, including strategic planning.
3) Three Years of experience in creating and analyzing organization systems with demonstrated competency to initiate, plan, implement, and evaluate with attention to detail.
4) Ability to understand the challenges in the communities and differences in attitudes and beliefs towards early education, child development and school age youth development.
5) Previous work with schools and or community organizations with outreach to students and parents.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
REPORTS TO: Director of Programs
BENEFITS: One week of paid time off (PTO) after a probationary period is met.
HOURLY COMPENSATION: $18.00- $20.00 depending upon education and experience.
