Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries

- Verify patient information, collect co-pays, and process payments

- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information

- Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary

- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations of the front desk area

Skills:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures

- Experience with phone systems and handling multiple phone lines

- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
