Position OverviewAs a Corporate Recruiter at Follett School Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our organization, with a focus on Sales, while making an impact in education technology. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and acquiring top talent to support our sales team, in addition to other corporate functions. The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for planning and executing the end-to-end recruitment process, setting hiring goals in collaboration with the business and overall organization needs and managing communication with candidates and internal stakeholders. This role will source candidates using both active and passive approaches, conduct interviews, and implement effective recruitment strategies to build a high-performing team. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices with a focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with leadership and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs, priorities, and long-term growth plans. 
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber sales professionals, including direct sourcing, networking, and leveraging online professional platforms. 
  • Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture. 
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding support. 
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, proactively engaging with passive candidates and nurturing relationships. 
  • Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience as well as policies and employer branding initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Follett School Solutions, promoting our employer value proposition and fostering positive relationships with candidates and external partners. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies and decision-making. 
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders on recruitment metrics, progress, and challenges, and recommend strategies for optimization.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives, recruitment events, and other talent acquisition activities as needed. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience specific to sales and other corporate functions.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with a focus on sales within the technology or software industry. EdTech experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sales recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively source, engage, and assess candidates using a variety of methods and tools.
  • Ability to manage full lifecycle recruiting processes successfully and effectively, from requisition to onboarding. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment software/tools, with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruitment events or meetings, as needed
