POSITION SUMMARY: An Account Executive is responsible for professional services sales to achieve both company and personal quotas. Responsibilities include developing marketing plans that provide leads, managing of assigned accounts, and understanding customers’ business issues and design strategies to provide valued outcomes to clients. This individual has advanced knowledge of the Public Sector Federal Civilian market and SaaS software applications in that industry.

Typical Day in the Life:

  • Responsible for prospecting in the assigned territory to achieve a qualified pipeline.
  • Responsible for coordinating closely with Salesforce counterparts, solution consultants, technical consultants, business development representatives and proposal management to maximize Cloud SynApps’s revenue from customers and prospects in the assigned territory.
  • Nurture the customer by providing value added solutions and services.
  • Update and maintain Salesforce CRM database and provide accurate weekly reports reflecting territory and pipeline status.

What You Need:

  • Undergraduate Degree: 4-year BS or BA, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minium of 5 years experience selling in the Federal Civilian market.
  • Must reside in the Greater Washington Area
  • Demonstrated experience as a proven sales performer in the professional services or SaaS software solutions industry, with a track record of nurturing and selling to new customer and existing customer base, as well as meeting and exceeded quota targets.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into Public Sector vertical, with experience in enterprise level professional services solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience as a direct contributor carrying an individual quota.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving quota in enterprise sales environment.
  • Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationships.
  • Leadership capability to quarterback and lead a team of selling resources to develop winning strategies to secure new business.
  • Willingness to travel

  • Demonstrated success in achieving quota in enterprise level technology sales.
  • Ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to prospects and sales resources.
  • Ability to resolve and solution complex business issues.
