POSITION SUMMARY
B Two Direct is looking for an extremely detail-oriented Director of Finance to develop and enhance our financial team. If you’re skilled with Quickbooks Online, Excel and other Microsoft programs, and want to use your talents to help an online marketing company succeed, send us your resume today!
JOB DUTIES
- Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and guidelines.
- Monitor budget performance throughout the year, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare rolling forecasts to provide updated projections on financial performance.
- Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Handle all A/P, A/R functions including invoicing and a high-volume bill payments using Tipalti programs.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Oversee banking relationships and optimize banking services to minimize costs and maximize returns.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, such as currency exchange fluctuations and interest rate changes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory disclosures.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Supervise and mentor finance department staff, fostering a high-performance culture and professional growth.
- Set clear expectations and goals for team members, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Foster collaboration and cross-functional partnerships to achieve organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role, with a track record of driving financial performance and business growth.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex financial concepts.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and critically about business issues and opportunities.
- Leadership experience, with a focus on managing high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems, specifically Quickbooks and ADP
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and other and Microsoft programs.
