Seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team! The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements. In this role you must have a keen attention to detail and maintain account balances, financial statements, general ledger, and all reports.

Location: Medford, NJ (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay: $40hr - $50hr

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information for multi-entity business
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team
• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes
• Other various Ad Hoc analysis and responsibilities as they arise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/finance preferred
• 5 years experience in staff accountant level roles
• Healthcare industry experience required
• Experience with Great Plains or NetSuite software preferred
• Microsoft Excel proficient
