Position: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Permanent

Rate Range: $70,000-$90,000

Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will help to build a quality and innovative insurance web portal. The successful candidate will have a good foundation in software automated quality assurance and is able to follow best patterns and best practices. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about learning and applying experience and the latest automation tools to improve our products.

The testing environment is 50/50 Manul and Automation testing. Open to more junior candidates that can be trained up on automation testing.

Requirements:

1. 2 years experience in automation testing

2. Experience with Cypress OR Playwright

3. Experience working in an Agile environment

4. Basic SQL knowledge

5. MUST BE ABLE TO GO ONSITE IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

Write manual test plans

Write automation test scripts using modern scripting tools

Write User Story Acceptance Criteria

Participate in daily stand-up with the development team

Participate with the team on the Agile framework (Scrum) to test user stories

Provide timely updates on progress

Build KPI dashboards to reflect quality improvements or areas requiring attention
