As the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing most financial aspects of manufacturing operations. This includes managing a small accounting operations team, month-end close, financial statement preparation and presentation, expense tracking, reconciliations, balance sheets, GL entries, audit preparation, budgets, various quarterly and year-end reports, and other accounting functions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting, finance or related field, a valid CPA license, and experience or familiarity within a manufacturing environment. Outside of education and technical skills, passion, great people skills, good time management and a sense of urgency is paramount to long-term success.

This is an ideal role for an accountant with previous private experience in manufacturing, or for a CPA looking to transition from public accounting to a leadership role within a private company.
