Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) is Hiring a Senior Construction Project Manager Near Meridian, ID

ESI’s Senior Project Manager is the steward of individual projects and bears the ultimate responsibility for their success or failure. They are the leaders of their team and provide guidance, direction, and follow up to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications and quality standards. They are firm believers that success is attained together and is never a solo achievement. They are visionaries who can visualize success, create a plan to achieve it, and carry out that plan. They are the stewards of client’s financial investment and operate with transparency and ethics. They are the public face and agents of ESI, and represent it with integrity and professionalism. Through their personal experience, commitment to integrity, and service-oriented mindset, they’re able to create, strengthen, and maintain relationships with clients, trades, and other ESI team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
  • Bachelors of Science in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of building construction, materials, means and methods, scheduling, project accounting and cost control procedures, general contract structure, general conditions, subcontract documents, construction drawings and specifications.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to the Boise, Idaho area.

Safety

General

  • Provide operational and procedural management support of project team members.
  • Partner with field personnel to ensure safety, and to implement and enforce ESI's safety policy.
  • Manage all aspects of a construction project, including bidding, construction/operations, project close-out, and warranty.
  • Establish, monitor, and thoroughly understand project finances, including profitability, change order management, and monthly applications for payment.
  • Generate, track, and maintain complex construction schedules.
  • Search out, contract with, negotiate with, and effectively manage a diverse group of subcontractors.
  • Understand prime contracts and subcontracts, resolve disputes, and negotiate terms.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFI's, submittals, plan changes (ASI's, CCD's, etc.).
  • Regularly visit jobsites to meet with clients and verify adherence to project documents and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other support departments to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Regularly report to upper management and to clients on project status.
  • Partner with field personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Effectively manage, train, and develop other team members.
