Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be able to assist our dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in general dentistry and work with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and equipment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures.
- Take X-rays and maintain proper infection control procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and billing information.
- Utilize dental software, including Eaglesoft and Epic, to manage patient information and billing.
- Ensure that all patients are treated with respect and dignity, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on dental assisting techniques and industry developments.

Requirements

- Current certification as a Dental Assistant or willing to obtain certification within a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience in general dentistry or a related field.
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, including infection control and X-ray technology.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, including Eaglesoft and Epic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment.
