Frank Beverage Group is now hiring for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in our Middleton location. The CFO is responsible for directing financial and accounting functions, the business office functions, and the HR and IT functions of the corporation. This position also oversees financial-related business systems, operating expenses, capital assets, and budgets for all locations. Responsibilities further include preparing and participating at Board meetings and Strategic Planning meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage and develop direct reports.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
• Oversee office administration and workflow.
• Responsible for the management of inventory control, all accounting functions, including monthly financial reporting, general ledger, AP and AR departments and all auditing functions.
• Accurate and timely completion and distribution of financial statements to the President, Senior Management and Shareholders.
• Participate in all planning and programs with regards to financial concerns, providing strategic, financial input and leadership on decision making issues.
• Cost Management, long and short term forecasting business planning and analysis and the annual budgeting process.
• Management of third party financial relationships with CPA and auditing firms, bank communications and relationships with insurance brokers.
• Work closely with Shareholders and upper level management to develop and implement solutions to business challenges.
• Manage legal contracts including supplier agreements, leases and insurance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, income tax laws and income tax preparation.
• Management of above responsibilities for multiple companies within the Frank Beverage Umbrella (Frank Beer, Frank Liquor, Frank Liquor of La Crosse, La Crosse Beverage, Beer Capitol, FBG Transport).
• Oversee direction of the HR function making sure it is strategically aligned across the organization.
• Oversee direction of the IT function making sure it is strategically aligned across the organization.
• Assists with recruiting efforts.
• Oversees direction and policies of the Business offices making sure customer support and sales support are properly and accurately provided.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business management or other related field; MBA in a related field preferred
• CPA required
• 10 years equivalent business experience, including extensive experience in financial planning and leadership
• Experience in a sales of goods industry preferred
• Experience successfully developing direct reports

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work independently and as a part of a team
• Attention to detail and well organized
• Effective oral and written communication skills including accuracy and spelling
• Excellent computers skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Very strong financial acumen and analytical/problem solving ability
• Able to make sound decisions quickly while maintaining corporate profitability
