Responsible for store profitability by controlling labor/expenses and promoting sales using effective sales techniques and good customer service and maintaining sufficient floor stock by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities – works a minimum of 45 hours per week to include the following;
1. Functions as role model to staff by performing all store functions as necessary, demonstrating good work habits, encouraging clean and safe work habits and promoting positive attitudes toward customers.
2. Trains and instructs store staff regarding job responsibilities on an ongoing basis.
3. Maintains and stocks inventory, and prices products (including ordering) according to pricing as set forth by the corporate office.
4. Maintains store food and safety standards in accordance with ServeSafe license agreements to ensure all equipment is working properly and holding correct temperatures on every shift and complete logs as needed.
5. Minimizes customer complaints through effective customer service in accordance with store policy.
6. Reports any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to the Operations Manager immediately.
7. Create weekly schedule to provide sufficient staffing for store needs at all times, including call-offs and shift vacancies.
8. Prepares and submits time schedules as prescribed by corporate policy.
9. Ensures cash drawers are reconciled accurately on a daily basis.
10. Receives and examines deliveries for discrepancies and resolves problems promptly.
11. Picks up supplies from other stores as needed.
12. Prepares daily paperwork and makes daily bank deposits.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
​Supervisory Responsibilities:
1. Interviews and hires store personnel.
2. Enforces store policies in verbal and written form as needed.
3. Assigns daily duties and supervises store personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
4. Conducts performance evaluations for store personnel in accordance with company policy.
5. Handles all disciplinary actions and exit interviews for terminations of employees.
6. Must work at least one evening per week to audit the second shift.
7. Maintain professional and positive attitude towards upper management, employees and customers.
8. Exhibit a strong work ethic, loyalty and pride in the company.
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior retail sales experience required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
