Our team is looking for a strategic Commodity Manager to help BluePoint gain competitor advantages and meet customer needs. We are seeking a manager with a hands-on approach who is an effective communicator and excited to work with a growing team and company. This role will be focused on managing BluePoint's procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business.
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continuously sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
• Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Negotiate price and terms with vendors and service providers, securing optimal quality, delivery, best-in-class pricing, and terms for BluePoint.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of purchasing experience, global operations, or finance.
• Extensive knowledge of procurement strategies, tactics, negotiation, and contracting skills.
• CPSM certification is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $125,000-$150,000. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
