What You Will Be Doing
- Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents, including procurement agreements, construction contracts, SaaS agreements, hotel group sales contracts, etc.
- Research legal issues in the areas of corporate law, real estate, contracts, labor and employment, and intellectual property.
- Support the corporate real estate team on matters involving real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial lease transactions, zoning and land use, and condominiums.
- Consult with both Hotel and Theatre divisions and corporate human resources, accounting, finance, marketing and other departments to support their legal needs and advise on legal and strategic issues.
- Opportunities to present to and interact with the Executive Management team and Board of Directors.
- Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
- Minimum of two to three years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house.
- An understanding of corporate or real estate law with experience in commercial transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to perform multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
