Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists superintendent and project managers with multiple projects and project deliverables.
• Assist superintendent in overseeing each stage of project.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Process/manage material deliveries - ensure that materials received are properly inspected for quantity and quality and are in compliance with contract documents.
• Conducts site safety audits and quality audits.
• Assist in developing and updating the project schedule. Assist the project manager/superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule.
• Inspect the project daily for quality, production, and safety. Identify items for improvement; with guidance, implement changes by coordinating with appropriate individuals with respective subcontractor.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite.
• Assist in the maintenance of project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, and requests for information (RFIs).
• Assist in generating change orders and as-built data to be reviewed by the project manager.
• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations.
• Assist with the pre-construction/bidding process.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or other related fields
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Project Engineering, Field Engineer or equivalent (Must be from Construction and development)
• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project
