Join Our Team as an Experienced Therapist

As a Therapist at our acute care facility, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive social services to patients and their families. Our setting includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services, ensuring a dynamic and impactful work environment. We are seeking a seasoned professional who can bring expertise and compassion to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized therapeutic treatment to patients, families, and significant others, including individual, group, and family sessions.
  • Conduct daily safety assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Offer case management and therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity and respect in all interactions.
  • Participate in psychoeducational support sessions and maintain open communication with referring providers, schools, and the care team.
  • Implement SMART goals within the therapeutic component of the patient’s program.
  • Complete comprehensive documentation, including admissions, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Provide leadership in clinical interventions, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and outcome evaluation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and supportive treatment experience.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare, with at least two (2) years in a psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic interventions and techniques across all age groups.
  • Certification in American Red Cross Professional Rescue within 30 days of hire and bi-annual re-certification.
  • Formal training in the management of aggressive patients (NCI) within 60 days of hire and annual re-certification.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and adherence to regulatory requirements.
