*12 month contract, with potential for extension or converting to a permanent hire

This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $80 - $90/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Work with scrum team to design new features and enhanced functionality for Pest Service iOS App
• Develop and maintain an organized asset library to streamline design workflows and ensure consistency across projects
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, useability testing, and data analysis
• Responsible for the interaction design of assigned features – leading elicitation and readying annotated prototypes
• Lead task-based usability research
• Collect and synthesis VOC to establish user needs
• Plan and lead design thinking workshops
• Ability to create interactive design prototypes in Figma, Axure, HTML/JS/CSS, or other tools

Required Skills:

• Minimum of five (5) combined years of working experience in user experience design or interaction design with experiences in designing solutions for desktop, web and/or applications on a variety of platforms
• Experience designing interactions for native applications for iOS and Android
• Ability to create and annotate design prototypes
• Strong ability to design, execute, and analyze task-based usability studies and other user research methods
• Experience planning and leading design workshops

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to create interactive design prototypes in Figma, Axure, HTML/JS/CSS, or other tools
• Experience with creating personas, user journey maps, and other deliverables that communicate research findings.

Education/Experience Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), interaction design, user experience design, visual design, or industrial design.
