Job Summary:

Very successful textile company in business for 50 years seeks for an experienced, motivated Sales Representative to meet customers, help them find what they need and up-sell new products. We’re looking for a professional who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge.

The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training for 2 weeks, then will travel with Senior Sales Person to get hands on experience in the field.

You will be covering following regions: Wi, MN, IA. The opportunity is there after successful completion of training program that you will be assigned to your own territory and visit on average 50 customers per season. You must be willing to relocate or live in one of these areas.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule sales appointments and activities
• Promote products/services to new and existing customers
• Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship
• Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships to to prolong customer lifetime value
• Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
• Source and develop client referrals
• Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Continuously improve through feedback

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree is a must
• 2 years’ direct sales experience
• 4 years experience a plus
• Experience working with sales volumes greater than $200,000
• Willingness to travel

* This is a 1099 position
