USPI is Hiring a Pre-Op Post-Op RN Near Mission Hills, CA
Pre-op/Post-Op RN: Full Time
Busy multi-specialty surgery center is looking for a Pre-op / Post-op RN to join our team. The perfect candidate will be proficient in both Pre-op and Post-op, be self-motivated, flexible, reliable, productive, patient-oriented and will incorporate our “Be Kind to all” company work ethic. We offer flexible hours, Paid vacation and sick time, health, vision, and dental insurance as well as 401k. Monday – Friday hours, no weekends.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current CA Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU
- Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
- Ability to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordingly
- Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Excellent teaching skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change
- Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
Salary Range: $60 to $63/ hour
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
